You have found my webpage, which probably means that you already know who I am.
For those who found this webpage by accident, a few words about myself.
I'm Karim Zahidi, a mathematician living in Ghent (Belgium) and working at the university of Ghent and the University of Antwerp.
I live in Ghent together with my partner Ann Dejaeghere.
Below is a picture of me, taken at the Marx-Engels forum in Berlin.

What do I do except mathematics and philosophy?
Well, my main hobby is singing. I sing in the Brecht-Eisler choir, a leftist choir from Brussels.
Currently the Brecht-Eisler choir is touring with a programme remembering the 50th anniversary of Brecht's death.
Below is a small excerpt of this production where I sing the Song of Supply and Demand (in dutch) from The measure taken by Brecht and Eisler.
This recording was made with a digital camera so the sound quality is poor.
I hope to be able to put a full and more professional recording on-line soon.
A full recording of this song in English is available from the Hanns Eisler website.
